Homeless Emergency Project (HEP) 2013

Little Black Dress” Event Draws a Crowd and Raises Funds

Belleair Bluffs, Fla. (November 20, 2013) – Radiance Medspa located in Belleair Bluffs hosted its annual “Little Black Dress” fundraiser for the Homeless Emergency Project (HEP) on Thursday, Nov. 14, and raised not only awareness of what HEP provides in the community, but also raised over $3,000 to further the day to day services to provide housing, food and support to the homeless, so that they can attain self sufficiency. More than 100 guests attended the event, and each made a financial contribution and dress donation. The clothing donations will be sold at the HEP Thrift Store, and the dress donations will be featured in the high-end clothing boutique that offers vintage and popular name brands at incredible prices. All proceeds go directly to (HEP) operating funds. In addition to clothing, other slightly loved items, antiques and collectibles can be found at the 13,000 square feet HEP Thrift Store. “It has been a pleasure to work with both Jackie Dryden, HEP director of development and Barbara Green, HEP president and CEO. Supporting HEP gives Radiance Medspa the opportunity to repay the community that has supported our growth the past eight years. I was so inspired by my recent tour of HEP and their amazing operation that I hope more members of the community will visit or volunteer at HEP,” shared Stephanie Schlageter, founder Radiance Medspa.
