Botox: Related Procedures

1) Juvederm is a popular treatment around the eyes.  It is an injectable gel made of Hyaluronic Acid that is frequently used for erasing dark circles under the eyes and for replacing volume in the temples.  It can also be used to fill deep frown lines between the eyes when BOTOX alone is not enough.  Juvederm and BOTOX are often used together around the eyes and are usually administered in the same treatment session.  Learn More >

2) Fraxel, a resurfacing Laser, is often used in conjunction with BOTOX for erasing lines and wrinkles around the eyes.  Fraxel is used to generate new skin to eliminate lines and wrinkles such as crow’s feet, frown lines, and forehead lines.  It also improves crepy skin that can form underneath the eyes.  BOTOX and Fraxel are a great combination – BOTOX is used first to relax the muscles that actually cause the wrinkles, then Fraxel is used to resurface and smooth the skin.  Learn More >

3)  Peels are used to exfoliate the outermost layers of the skin to remove dull, damaged surface cells and reveal fresh new skin from beneath.  Through this process, Peels also stimulate the body to produce new skin cells, which helps keep the skin looking fresh and new.  When used in conjunction with BOTOX, peels help smooth lines and wrinkles that BOTOX minimizes but may not completely erase.   Learn More >
