1) Peels are used to exfoliate the outermost layers of the skin to remove dull, damaged surface cells and reveal fresh new skin from beneath.  Through this process, Peels also stimulate the body to produce new skin cells, which helps keep the skin looking fresh and new.  Peels and microdermabrasion treatments are similar in that they are used to exfoliate the skin.  The difference between them is that Peels typically produce deeper exfoliation than microdermabrasion for more significant results, often produce visible peeling after the treatment, and are typically more effective at helping control acne and oily skin.   Learn More >
