These days, women have plenty of ways to express their independent spirit. From successful careers to working hard to stay in shape, women want to look just as vibrant on the outside as they feel inside. This was precisely the mindset of retired schoolteacher Peggy when she decided to trade in her tired look and rough skin for its younger, smoother version.
With these goals in mind, Peggy visited Radiance Medspa in Belleair Bluffs. A rosacea sufferer, Peggy was interested in IPL Photofacials to target redness, spots and broken capillaries on her skin. What Peggy hadn’t counted on was that she would also learn about the benefits of injectables that would bring back the vibrant look she had enjoyed a couple decades ago.
“I just wanted my face to be smooth again,” said 62-year-old Peggy. During her complimentary consultation, Peggy received thorough information on the variety of options available to improve her overall appearance from the experienced staff.
“Erin, who did my consultation, told me about how your face loses fullness as you get older,” she said. “She was so knowledgeable about it that she made me feel very comfortable.” In all, Peggy has had five IPL treatments, which have lessened her redness and done away with her broken capillaries.
“I kept seeing results, but it wasn’t overtly noticeable,” said Peggy. “I’m just younger looking now.” In addition to Photofacials, Peggy had injections of BOTOX for her forehead lines and crow’s feet, Juvéderm for lip feathering and under eye circles and Voluma to subtly lift her cheeks and smile.
“Women have such full lives,” she says, “and while we can work hard to stay in shape and eat right, we can’t control things like loss of facial volume.”
Women like Peggy have spoken. You have a right to feel beautiful, look younger and face the future on your terms. Why not celebrate your independence this July with a step toward a younger you?
