Sponsor Spotlight on Belleair Living April 2016

Where can Belleair Bluffs residents and visitors go to learn about the latest treatments in anti- aging, find problem-solving cosmetic treatments, talk to experts, get advice and feel amazing inside and out? For more than a decade, the answer has been Radiance Medspa, an award-winning, locally owned business where clients achieve a beautiful, natural and youthful appearance with the latest treatments and technologies in medical skin- care. Recently expanded, Radiance Medspa now features a community space that provides ongoing educational opportunities for professionals and clients who want to keep up with the most recent industry developments.

Founded in 2006 by Owner and Director Stephanie Schlageter, Radiance Medspa has maintained a dedicated following of clients seeking non-surgical, no-down- time solutions to fine lines, wrinkles, skin discoloration, loose skin, excess fat and unwanted hair. With an individualized approach tailored to each client’s precise needs, the professional and highly trained staff begins each relationship with a complimentary one-on-one assessment to ensure safe and natural results. It is this type of mindful practice that earned Radiance Medspa the Medium Busi- ness of the Year Award from the Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Additionally, Radiance is in the top 1% and among only 200 Black Diamond Award winners in the United States for BOTOX and Juvéderm and the only one in Pinellas County.

“I started Radiance Medspa out of a desire to offer reliable solutions to the challenges of aging,” says Schlageter. “During this journey, I have been thrilled as new treatments have allowed us to offer better and better results. Along the way, we have loved being part of this community and work hard to make sure we consider each client as a friend and neighbor.”

The professionalism of Radiance Medspa begins with Schlageter, a former Re- search and Development Engineer and Marketing Director for a medical device company with a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, who insists on a strong focus on training, certification, licensing and experience for all of the staff. Under the guidance of Medical Director Erika Francis, MD, all treatments are performed exclusively by an MD, licensed nurse practitioner or medical aesthetician, many of whom are national instructors.

The cutting-edge treatments available at Radiance Medspa include skin renewal via the HydraFacial, the Eraser laser, IPL Photofacial, microdermabrasion and facial peels. Wrinkles and sagging, tired skin become a thing of the past with expertly administered BOTOX, Juvéderm Ultra Plus and Juvéderm Voluma injections. Clients bid farewell to trouble spots after fat-reduction sessions of CoolSculpting and Sculpsure treatments. Radiance Medspa even offers the newest Coolsculpting applicator, the CoolMini, which treats smaller areas like the double chin. Unwanted hair on the face or body can be removed too, with laser hair removal or the skin-smoothing results of derma- planing. In order to help clients maintain their beautiful results, Radiance Medspa provides skincare education and offers the full line of medical grade SkinMedica products. Created with scientifically proven ingredients, Skin- Medica growth factors, Retinol, antioxidants and sunscreen help extend the results of treatments.

During its 10-year history in the Belleair Bluffs community, Radiance Medspa has continually expanded. A second location in the Hyatt Regency Resort and Spa in Clearwater opened in 2011. With the launch of the addition to the Belleair Bluffs lo- cation, Radiance now includes a community room, which welcomes locals for events, educational programs, treatment learning sessions and other health and beauty happenings. Even before this addition, Radiance has gained a reputation for host- ing fun beauty events that offer the opportunity to learn more about the latest anti-aging treatments, see live demonstrations, talk to the professionals who perform them and even meet current clients. These events often double as fundraisers, and Radiance Medspa has always placed importance on serving the community it calls home. The company and its staff support a variety of local organiza- tions including Homeless Empowerment Program (HEP), AchieveHERs, Suncoast Hospice, Belleair’s Dimmitt Community Center, Beach Art Center, Clearwater Community Sailing Center, Plato Acad- emy, Largo Cultural Center and The Armed Forces History Museum.

Now everyone in Belleair Bluffs can unlock the secret to making age just a number and turning
a trouble spot into “no problem.” Attend a fun, educational event at Radiance Medspa or set up an individual consultation today, and you’ll be on your way to a younger-looking you.
