A Natural Approach to Under-Eye Rejuvenation

PRF EzGel now available in Belleair Bluffs, FL

If you catch yourself zooming in on your under-eyes in every photo, you're not alone. For a lot of people, the under-eye area is the first place that starts to look tired-even after great sleep. Hollows can cast shadows, thin skin can look crepey, and dark circles can feel impossible to cover.

Part of the reason is anatomy and collagen loss over time. The under-eye skin is naturally thinner than other areas of the face, and as collagen, elastin, and structural support decline, that delicate area can become more transparent and less resilient. Volume loss can also create a hollowed transition under the eyes, which makes shadows look darker and more noticeable.

The frustrating part is that many solutions feel like a compromise. Some patients want to avoid fillers. Others have tried eye creams and concealer, only to feel like the issue is happening under the surface.

EZ Gel (also called PRF EZ Gel) is a different approach: natural, patient-derived, and designed to support gradual improvement. As a bio-stimulating injectable,  EZ Gel helps rebuild support in the under-eye area by using your body's own growth factors to encourage collagen production, improve skin thickness and elasticity, and soften hollowing over time. At Radiance Medspa, we use it to restore a smoother under-eye transition while supporting natural-looking rejuvenation-so you still look like you, just more rested.

What is EzGel (PRF EzGel)?

EzGel is a bio-stimulating injectable made from your own blood components. The goal isn't to "inflate" the under-eye-it's to create subtle volume support and deliver regenerative biostimulation that helps improve skin quality over the weeks that follow.

Because it's derived from your own blood (autologous), many patients like it as an option for delicate areas like the tear trough where a natural look matters most.

How does EzGel work?

The treatment is performed in-office and follows a straightforward process:

  1. A small blood draw (similar to routine lab work).
  2. Centrifugation to separate and isolate platelet-rich fibrin (PRF).
  3. Albumin gel formation: a portion of your plasma rich in albumin is heated and cooled in a controlled way to create a smooth gel-no added chemicals for the gelling step.
  4. Mixing: PRF is combined with the albumin gel to form EZ Gel.
  5. Precision injection into the under-eye/tear trough area using technique selected for your anatomy.

In simple terms: EZ Gel acts like a soft scaffold, and the PRF portion supports a gradual regenerative response. Patients typically see change building over several weeks.

What does EzGel help with under the eyes?

EzGel is most often used to address concerns like:

  • Under-eye hollows / tear troughs that create shadowing
  • Thin or crepey under-eye texture (skin quality support)
  • A "tired" look even when you feel fine
  • A preference for a natural alternative instead of synthetic filler materials

During your consultation, we'll look at what's actually creating the under-eye concern (volume, skin thickness, pigmentation, vascular show-through, or a mix) and recommend the best plan.

EzGel vs under-eye filler: what's the difference?

Traditional under-eye filler is usually designed for immediate volume correction using a manufactured gel (commonly hyaluronic acid). EzGel is typically chosen by patients who like the idea of using their own blood-derived components.

That said, this isn't "one is always better." Some patients do great with filler. Others are better suited for EzGel-or a phased plan that prioritizes skin quality first. The best choice depends on anatomy, skin thickness, goals, and risk tolerance in the tear trough area.

How long do EzGel results take, and how long do they last?

EzGel is not usually an instant "big change" treatment. Many patients begin noticing improvement in 1-2 weeks, with peak results around 4-6 weeks as collagen support builds.

Results typically last up to 12 months and our providers recommend a series of sessions spaced a 4-6 weeks apart for best outcomes.

Is there downtime after EzGel?

Most patients plan for possible mild swelling or bruising around the injection sites. Many return to normal activities quickly, with common-sense precautions and aftercare guidance.

If you have a major event coming up, we'll help you time your treatment so you feel confident.

Who is a good candidate for EzGel?

EzGel can be a strong fit if you:

  • Want a natural-looking under-eye refresh
  • Prefer an approach that uses your own blood-derived components
  • Have under-eye hollows and/or thin texture and want gradual improvement
  • Are open to a series plan for a more complete result

Your consultation is also where we screen for reasons to postpone treatment (for example: active infection, certain blood-related conditions, or other medical considerations).
