Downtime & Recovery
This is where CoolPeel stands apart from traditional CO₂. For a day or two, you can expect to look a little pink or flushed, as if you'd spent a bit too long in the sun. For most people, that's nothing that keeps them out of their normal routine — only sun exposure should be avoided while your skin heals.
Over the next several days, your skin may feel dry or slightly flaky as the older surface skin renews itself, so keeping it well hydrated is important. To protect your results, your CoolPeel treatment includes a take-home post-care kit, and we ask that you use it for at least 14 days. After about two weeks, it's safe to return to gentle exfoliation and your regular routine.
