BOTOX Cosmetic is currently the world’s most popular non-surgical cosmetic medical treatment, most commonly used for addressing lines and wrinkles around the eyes.
Most of the lines and wrinkles that form around the eyes are the result of facial expressions.
Each time we smile, frown, or raise our brows in surprise, our facial muscles contract and crease the skin. When these facial expressions are repeated over and over again for years and years, lines and wrinkles eventually form, making people look older, angry, and/or tired.
BOTOX is essentially an injectable muscle relaxant. When injected into the muscles that cause wrinkles, it relaxes the muscles and reduces and often eliminates the wrinkles. The most common BOTOX treatments are crow’s feet, frown lines between the eyes, and horizontal forehead lines.
Botox can also be used to achieve a beautiful brow lift and has many other uses on the lower face and neck. The results of BOTOX look natural and typically last 3-4 months, although many people find that it lasts longer with repeated use over time.

What is BOTOX ® Cosmetic?
BOTOX is a purified protein that has been used for more than 30 years to safely treat a variety of medical conditions. It is one of the most widely researched medicines in the world. In 2002, BOTOX Cosmetic was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) specifically for cosmetic use. Since that time, BOTOX has fast grown to become the #1 non-surgical cosmetic treatment in the U.S. and in the world with more than 7 million BOTOX procedures performed annually in the U.S. in 2017.
How does BOTOX work?
During treatment, very low doses of BOTOX are administered via a few tiny injections directly into the muscles responsible for causing wrinkles. BOTOX enables the muscles to relax, resulting in noticeable wrinkle reduction. The effects are very localized and, when administered by one of our experienced clinicians, will look and feel natural.
Where can I use BOTOX ?
BOTOX can be used to treat frown lines between the brows (also called “elevens”), forehead lines, crow’s feet, and even smoker’s lines on the upper lip. BOTOX can even be used to produce a beautiful, natural-looking brow lift.
How long is a BOTOX treatment?
If you are a new client, expect to be here at least half hour. We will review your medical history, go over the procedure, expectations and answer any questions you may have. Follow-up treatments (if needed) should take approximately 15 minutes.
How long will the results last?
Results generally last 3-4 months. Typically you should see results develop over two to ten days post treatment. By the end of month 3 or 4, you will probably be ready for another treatment.
What are the possible side effects?
