The CoolPeel® is a groundbreaking, modern approach to safely, and comfortably, deliver the benefits of a traditional fractional CO2 laser resurfacing treatment without the downtime. By targeting only, the superficial layer of skin tissue, CoolPeel® vaporizes damaged skin, revealing younger and healthier-looking skin.

CO2 lasers have long been the gold standard in treating wrinkles, age spots, acne scars, and other blemishes. Traditional CO2 treatments have long been associated with considerable downtime.  However, the innovation, control, and precision of the CoolPeel® can deliver a fractional ablative treatment without causing thermal damage to the surrounding skin. What is CoolPeel®?

CoolPeel® is a modern approach to fractional skin resurfacing. Technology has continued to advance with Fractional Resurfacing to target only a fraction of the skin with micro-beams that will vaporize the tissue in microscopic columns, leaving bridges of healthy tissue surrounding each injury to accelerate the healing process. Further advancements have been made to create a spray distribution of those micro-columns to create a more natural-looking appearance during the recovery period. The CoolPeel® is the first high peak power CO2 Laser to offer all the most modern advances in lasers in one simple, safe and predictable procedure.

What Makes CoolPeel® different?

Many CO2 treatments are often accompanied by considerable downtime and risk while damaged skin heals.

Attempts have been made over the years to improve the side effects of CO2 treatments but only the CoolPeel® can deliver a fractional ablative treatment without the downtime. This means there is minimal risk of hyper-pigmentation, demarcation, or infection, unlike other, traditional CO2 treatments.

How Soon Will I See Results?

You will start noticing improvements after one week. Texture issues, sun damage, age spots, pigmentation and overall dullness will improve dramatically after about a week. Full results will be seen 90 days after the last CoolPeel® treatment.

What is the Recovery Time for CoolPeel®?

One of the main benefits of a CoolPeel®, is that there is minimal downtime. You should expect to be a little red, as if you have a sunburn, for a day, or two, but nothing should prevent you from returning to your normal daily activities, excluding those that expose your skin to the sun. Your skin may feel dry and scaly as it heals so it is important to keep the skin hydrated.

Does CoolPeel® Hurt?

During the fractional laser resurfacing treatment, you can expect to feel warm sensations in some areas but for the most part, you will feel little to nothing as a result of your skin being numbed prior to the procedure using a topical numbing cream. After the treatment, your skin will feel tight and warm.

Can CoolPeel® be Used to Tighten the Skin?

Some incidental skin tightening comes with most lasers, however, our Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, APRNs, will often recommend combing the treatment with Vivace RF Microneedling for optimal results.

What Areas can I Treat with CoolPeel®?

CoolPeel® can be used to smooth, improve, and resurface the skin on nearly any area of the face or body, with the face, neck, chest, and hands being some of the most popular.

When can I Return to My Skincare Routine?

Your CoolPeel® treatment comes with a post care kit to ensure your skin is properly protected and nourished after your procedure. These products are required to be used for a minimum of 14 days following your CoolPeel®. After two weeks, it is safe to exfoliate the skin. Many patients choose to get a Hydrafacial treatment to help exfoliate between treatments.
